About Cat King

I've always had a passion for art and for many years was  fortunate enough to teach art in Schools.  I used my skills to  make paper and mixed media sculptures. Looking to further develop my ideas and processes,  I discovered clay! Since then I've been completely hooked on this magic mud and the endless possibilities this medium yields. 

My sculptures are inspired by my love of the natural world .

The characters I create are a response to my life experiences, feelings ,thoughts and what is going on in the world. 

Currently I am working with Marilyn the Jolly pig,  Nature Shrines and  Sad Phil .
